Indian National Congress under the leadership of Jawaharlal Nehru, on Dec. 31, 1929, declared the attainment of complete independence as its goal. It also decided to celebrate independence day on 26 Jan, 1930.
The Government of India Act, 1935 introduced dyarchy at the centre.
Cripp`s Mission made proposals on March, 1942.
Cabinet Mission plan came on 1941. The committee consisted of lord Pethic Lawrence, Sir Stafford Cripps and A.V.Alexander.
Indian Independence bill was introduced in British parliament on July 4, 1947 and it was enacted on July 18, 1947.
Mahatma gandhi started a movement against salt laws on 12th March 1930.  78 members marched from Sabarmati Asram to Dandi to prepare salt by violating salt laws. 
The famous Dandi March took 25 days.  On 6th April 1930 Gandhiji prepared salt by violating salt laws.
Quit India Movement started on Aug 9, 1942
Muslim League observed as March 25, 1942 as the "pakistan day" 
Servents of Indian society was founded by Gopala Krishna Gokhale in 1905 at Bombay.
