Jallianwala
Bagh massacre took place on April 13, 1919 at Amritsar. General O`Dyer
fired on people who were in protesting against rowlatt Act. Thousands
of people were killed in this incident.
Mahatma Gandhi launched the Non-Cooperation movement in 1920.
The
Chauri-Chaura incident took place on 5th Feb. 1922. In this incident
22 policemen were killed. Gandhiji stopped the Non-Cooperation
Movement.
All India Khilafat conferencewas held on Nov. 24, 1919 at Delhi. Mahatma Gandhi was its prsident.
Swaraj party founded in 1923. The main leaders of this pary were C.R.Das, Moti Lal Nehru, Kelkar etc.
Siman Commission came to India on Feb. 1927. It had seven members.
All
the parties conference meeting helt at culcutta in 1928. The
conference appointed a committee to draft a constitution under the
leadership of Motilal Nehru.
The draft constitution prepared by Nehru committee approved by the all parties conference in Aug.1928.
